Have you ever wondered what you can do to help spread the word once you return home from the Park? Take a page from Kristi Koruna's book, a recent visitor and friend of the Park, and consider writing to your local newspaper about the time you spent with Lek's gentle giants. Your words will not only help educate more people on the difficulties Asian elephants face today, but they may help inspire more folks to make a difference!

After her article was published, Kristi recently contacted us to share her story:

I visited the Park in June 2009 and it made a great impression on me. I felt that I needed to alert more people about the importance of the work you are doing. I just found out that an article I wrote about the Park was published in Toronto's (Canada) biggest newspaper this past Sunday....

I am proud that in a city of 4.5 million people, many will read it and hopefully visit and support the Park.

We're proud of you too, Kristi! Thank you so much for your beautiful words about the Park and for helping to make a positive change in the world!
